Join our Sub-Committee
Hello JBASC parent and carer community,
Our outstanding out-of -school hours service with an exceeding rating is run by a very small and dedicated volunteer sub-committee of the Jannali Public School P&C.
We are calling for new members in 2022.
The commitment is for up-to 2 meetings per term, which help decide the strategic and operational direction of the service. Any community member who benefits from the service is welcome to join and lend their voice and skills. We currently don't have any Como families on our sub-committee and extend our callout for Como community to join.
Particularly, if you have any experience in health, law, HR or community engagement - these are highly valued skills that we need on our team. If you do have these skills but are unable to commit to every meeting, please feel free to identify yourself and we could consult with you when the committee is considering issues in these fields.
The committee requires a voting quorum at each meeting of 5 members. We understand that families who use the service are busy, so the more we have able to commit to even 1 meeting or consulting, spreads the work among our volunteers.
To join, you must join the Jannali P&C for $2 via the attached form, and then express a desire to join the JBASC Subcommittee at the AGM via Zoom on TUESDAY MARCH 8th.
