COVID-19 Letter to Parents
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are receiving daily information and advice from the NSW Department of Education ECED and the Australian Government regarding COVID-19 and will keep you informed of any changes as they come to hand.
The health, safety and wellbeing of all our children, families and staff is paramount and we will be guided by the official advice received from these government departments. Please don’t hesitate to contact the centre to discuss any concerns you or your child has regarding COVID-19 and the impact it is having on our day-to-day routines.
Precautions we take may include-
· Contacting you to collect your child immediately if he/she shows signs of being unwell whilst at the centre. Please do not send your child to the centre if they are unwell.
· Educators will not work if they show signs of being unwell. The Approved Provider and Nominated Supervisor will ensure we operate in ratio at all times.
· Regular hand washing and good hygiene practices such as sneezing into your elbow.
· If a child has returned from overseas, they must self-isolate for 14 days.
· Any confirmed case of COVID-19 will be excluded from the service until they have medical clearance to return.
· Any close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19 will be excluded from the service for 14 days.
· Any confirmed cases of an infectious disease will be reported to the NSW Regulatory Authority.
Given the constantly changing nature of this situation our regular BASC and Vacation Care hours and programs may be impacted. We will keep parents informed of any changes.
We acknowledge the challenges families are facing with information and advice changing regularly and thank you for your support in keeping our children safe and healthy.
Kind regards,
Bronwyn Hearnden
